The Unique Cathedral Hideaway

Positive: An exceptional stay! It’s genuinely hard to find any fault with this place. The Hideaway was incredibly comfortable, with straightforward parking, great communication from the host, and a fantastic location. The wood burner was a lovely added touch that made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stunningly presented and equipped characterful property, in lovely location Positive: Beautifully presented and comfortable apartment. Loved the log fire, and very convenient location for local cafes and restaurants in Dunblane as well as to walk along the river and see the cathedral. We were heading up to do the Sauna boat on Loch Tay, and this was a great place to stay with very easy access from the motorway arriving late on Friday night. I wasn’t sure about the parking, but the car park was close and plenty of space. Negative: Stair access is a little awkward, but part of the character of the property and was fine for us.

Lovely, well equipped apartment Positive: Well equipped and spacious apartment in the centre of Dunblane. The apartment was beautifully decorated and included a number of lovely touches. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We also appreciated the lovely large towels and local toiletries in the bathroom. Bed was large and really comfortable. Negative: We didn't give the full marks for our stay based on some minor things. The oven needed cleaning including the greasy baking tray left inside. Also, the proximity of the stairs to the bedroom/bathroom doors is a little concerning. Maybe consider a stair gate?

There was an issue with the hot water and the property manager helped out over text and email to work it out. Positive: Well appointed apartment with lots of Room to spread out. Clean and tidy. Negative: Two sets of spiral stairs make it a no go for anyone with mobility issues.

Worth a visit Positive: Excellent property, very clean and everything you need. Log burner was lovely after a cold walk. Negative: Sofas are a bit small. Poor quality loo roll.....
