The Nest - Cosy Holiday Cottage

Fabulous cottage, location and vibe. HIGHLY recommended. We will return! Positive: The location was perfect for us. Not busy, and easy to drive to Stirling, Perth or Dundee. The Cottage was gorgeous and we will definitely come back to The Nest. There was a nice range of DVD's, books and games. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates etc. Parking on site. Stunning views from the upstairs lounge window. Really peaceful location. Fabulous cafe in the village. Can't recommend highly enough Negative: Netflix wasn't available, which it had said it was. This was a very minor blip. We could have done with brighter lamps in the lounge for when we were reading or writing.

Cosy, very relaxing with wonderful views - highly recommended for a chilled few days! Positive: The Nest was perfect - very clean and cosy with fabulous views across the Tay. Everything had been thought of, including fluffy hot water bottles hanging on the back of the bedroom doors! It felt as if it was in the middle of the countryside yet was still in the village. We didn’t need to drive anywhere and spent our few days walking on paths beside the Tay, up to the Cairn O Mohr winery for tasting and a delicious lunch and enjoying another lovely lunch in the local cafe The Lass O’ Gowrie.

What a beautiful stay! Positive: I wish I’d booked it for longer just to spend more time enjoying the house. My sisters even spent a whole day inside because it was so relaxing. The place was so thoughtfully done, with every little thing beautifully filled and arranged, you can tell a lot of care went into making it perfect. And the location is to die for, so peaceful, with the most beautiful sunrise.

Positive: Great experience overall. Hosts were communicative without being bothersome. The unit was IMMACULATE and so, so comfortable. Location is fantastic. If I'm ever in Errol, Scotland again, I would LOVE to stay.

A short, beautiful trip to Errol Positive: We visited Errol for a wedding at Errol Park Estate so The Nest was in the perfect location and a short walk away. The house itself is clean, has everything you’d need (including hot water bottles which were appreciated when we arrived back in the early hours) and so picturesque. We all absolutely loved our stay here and were sad we hadn’t booked an extra day to fully enjoy the property. It would be the ideal place for a quiet getaway with stunning views, a gorgeous garden and a beautiful living area filled with games, books and DVDs. The village itself is teeny but has a pub, 2 convenience stores and a beautiful cafe which serves a great vegan breakfast and sweet treats. We’re already chatting about coming back for a few days! Negative: Nothing!
